Theater of the Mind
About Radio Days
Radio Days is free old-time radio, with no ads and no sign-up: more than 36,000 shows from radio's golden age, played station by station. Nothing to download. Just press play.
It was built by an old-time radio fan, for old-time radio fans.
Radio Days is also on Roku: search the Roku Channel Store for Radio Days, or add the channel.
Who's behind it

Radio Days comes from Dennis Wright, a former broadcaster who worked on the air in Alaska and the Pacific Northwest as Dennis Russell, a longtime collector of old-time radio, and the founder of the Radio Days Theater of the Mind Museum. The museum is closed now, but some of its collection is here to see: the rings, badges, decoders and other radio premiums in Radio Premiums (in the Menu), and photos from the museum's archive on the stations and in Liner Notes.

Dennis's books
Dennis is also an author. His published books are The Dragon's Heir: Birthright, Book One, the first book in his Dragon's Heir series, and The Turning Point: Two Roads. One Choice., a collection of 19 stories about the crossroads moments in people's lives. Both are available on Amazon.
Your own radio station
Radio Days isn't one stream someone else programs, or a pile of downloads. Pick a show, a star, a writer, a mood or a night of the week, and Radio Days plays it like a station. Thumbs up and thumbs down steer what comes next, and you can set aside the shows you don't care for. The network buttons play a real evening's lineup by your own clock, and On This Day plays what first aired on today's date.
Where the shows come from
The recordings stream from the Internet Archive, and a few from the Radio Days Museum's own collection. Air dates, casts and credits come from sources such as RadioGOLDINdex and Jerry Haendiges' Vintage Radio Logs, and every show history and episode note is written for Radio Days, with its sources listed in Liner Notes.
Keeping it free
Radio Days is listener-supported. If you enjoy it, you can support Radio Days, leave a review (Reviews, at the bottom of the page), or join the email list for new shows and each issue of the Radio Days Gazette.
