Movie star Alan Ladd played Holiday and produced the show through his own company, Mayfair Productions. Ladd worked on the scripts with writer Russell Hughes, who had given him radio work back in 1935. Sylvia Picker played his secretary, Suzy. It was syndicated from 1947 to 1949, 52 episodes in all.
