Play Casey, Crime Photographer on Radio Days

George Harmon Coxe created Casey, the newspaper photographer who kept getting mixed up in murder. Staats Cotsworth played him on CBS from July 7, 1943, to November 16, 1950, and again from 1954 to 1955, with Jan Miner as reporter Ann Williams. Cases often ended at the Blue Note, a jazz club where Ethelbert tended bar and a piano played in the background. Over the years it was also called Flashgun Casey and Crime Photographer. Archie Bleyer led the orchestra.
