Play Creeps by Night on Radio Days

Creeps by Night was a horror and suspense anthology heard on the Blue Network from February to August 1944. Boris Karloff hosted and narrated at the start, his first regular radio job, but when production shifted from the West Coast to New York in May 1944 he was replaced by an unnamed host known only as "Dr. X." The stories leaned toward psychological chills rather than gore, performed by actors including Everett Sloane, Ed Begley, Jackson Beck and Abby Lewis. Robert Maxwell produced the series.
