Play Dr. Christian on Radio Days

Jean Hersholt played Dr. Christian, a country doctor in the Midwest town of River's End, on CBS from November 7, 1937, to January 6, 1954, for Vaseline. Rosemary DeCamp was among those who played his nurse, Judy Price. By the mid-1940s listeners wrote most of the scripts: an annual contest paid $2,000, and Rod Serling and Earl Hamner Jr. were among the winners.
