John W. Campbell, editor of Astounding magazine, hosted this Mutual series from December 4, 1957, to June 13, 1958. It promised real science fiction, by and for science-fiction fans, and it adapted stories by writers like Isaac Asimov, Philip K. Dick, Robert Silverberg, Poul Anderson and Randall Garrett. Sanford Marshall produced and directed. "As Time Goes By" was the closing theme.
