Play Frontier Gentleman on Radio Days
John Dehner played J. B. Kendall, a reporter for The Times of London, writing about the American West, on CBS from February 2 to November 16, 1958. Antony Ellis created, wrote and directed it, and Jerry Goldsmith wrote the theme. Kendall met invented characters and real ones, like Jesse James and Wild Bill Hickok. It was one of the grittier adult Westerns of radio's last years.
