52 episodes · 1942–1948 · Blue Network, Mutual, Armed Forces Radio Service, Mutual-Don Lee · Westerns

Red Ryder rode out of Fred Harman's 1938 comic strip and onto the Blue Network on February 3, 1942, three nights a week, with his young Navajo partner, Little Beaver. Later it was heard on Mutual and the Don Lee Network on the West Coast, sponsored by Langendorf Bread. Reed Hadley played Red from 1942 to 1944, then Carlton KaDell and Brooke Temple; Tommy Cook and Henry Blair were among the Little Beavers.
