Sky King
7 episodes · 1947–1951 · ABC, Mutual · Juvenile

Schuyler "Sky" King was a flying rancher who caught crooks from the cockpit of his plane, the Songbird, with his niece Penny and nephew Clipper. Roy Winsor developed it from an idea by Robert M. Burtt and Wilfred G. Moore, and it ran from 1946 to 1954, sponsored by Peter Pan Peanut Butter. Roy Engel, John Reed King and Earl Nightingale were among those who played Sky; Beryl Vaughn was Penny and Jack Bivens was Clipper.
