Play The Goldbergs on Radio Days
Gertrude Berg's warm serial about Molly Goldberg, her husband Jake and their children Sammy and Rosalie. Molly, who wrote and starred in it, calls "Yoo-hoo!" out the window and meddles lovingly in everyone's business. Most of this run is from 1941, when the family leaves the Bronx for Lastonbury, Connecticut: Sammy's troubled engagement to Sylvia Allison, a little French boy found in the barn, and the ex-convict landlord Mr. Way.
