Ireene Wicker, the Singing Lady, sang songs and told stories for children on network radio from the early 1930s. These eight NBC Blue Network shows from 1936 to 1938 were recorded off the air at WJZ in New York. Two of them are shows where the program received awards, and the last is the final show of the original series, which was followed in its time slot by the adventure serial Don Winslow of the Navy.
