Play The Stan Freberg Show on Radio Days

The Stan Freberg Show was a weekly CBS comedy series that ran for 15 episodes from July to October 1957, airing Sunday evenings. Freberg starred alongside voice performers Daws Butler, June Foray and Peter Leeds, with singer Peggy Taylor and Billy May leading the orchestra. Episodes mixed sketches, song parodies, mock commercials and interviews, frequently poking fun at Madison Avenue advertising. Without a sponsor willing to meet Freberg's terms, CBS ended the show, and an album drawn from it later won the first Grammy for Best Spoken Word Album.
