Play This Is My Best on Radio Days

This Is My Best was a half-hour CBS radio anthology that ran from September 1944 to May 1946, sponsored by Cresta Blanca wines. Performed before a live audience, it dramatized literary classics, contemporary fiction and films, with well-known Hollywood actors as guest stars. Orson Welles appeared early on and later served as producer, writer, host and star for a run of episodes in 1945. In the 1950s the series was rebroadcast on the Armed Forces Radio Service as The Globe Theater.
