Theater of the Mind
Tom Mix
23 episodes · 1939–1950 · Mutual, Blue Network, NBC · Juvenile

The Tom Mix Ralston Straight Shooters ran from 1933 to 1951, on the Blue Network and then Mutual, selling Ralston cereal to young cowpokes with comic books and other premiums. The real Tom Mix never appeared: years of injuries had left his voice unfit for broadcasting. Artells Dickson, Jack Holden and Russell Thorson played him, and Curley Bradley from 1944. Only about 30 episodes are known to survive.
