Ken Niles was a radio announcer who started out on Seattle's KJR in the late 1920s and in 1928 began a series of original radio dramas called Theater of the Mind. He later was announcer and comic foil for Bing Crosby and worked on Camel-sponsored series, notably The Abbott and Costello Show, often trading skits with Elvia Allman as his make-believe wife. His radio work earned him a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
