Olivia de Havilland (1916-2020) was a British-born actress who became an American citizen and one of the brightest stars of Hollywood's golden era. She made a string of films opposite Errol Flynn, including Captain Blood and The Adventures of Robin Hood, and earned an Oscar nomination as Melanie in Gone with the Wind. She went on to win two Academy Awards for Best Actress, for To Each His Own and The Heiress. Her court win against Warner Bros. set a rule that still limits studio contracts. In Radio Days she is heard on shows such as Lux Radio Theatre, The Screen Guild Theater and Academy Award Theater.
